We are AMERICANS!

I cannot even begin to write on this day without remembering the brave souls who endured one of the most horrific tragedies that has happened to the US in our most recent history. To be attacked on our own soil and to have so many perish while just living their daily lives, is more than gut wrenching to us all. It is absurd! How dare those ugly people whose only goal in life seems to be to hate Americans. What a waste of time. This must be the ultimate lie...well I know it is. That is how it works, the powers of all darkness are against anyone who extols freedom. Whether it be freedom from tyranny, freedom of speech or choice or even religious views. Those who choose to force others to act or live or believe just as they do are nothing more than beasts; people who are so judgmental and self serving that they simply must force their own beliefs on everyone else. It is my choice to believe in Jesus, He is my Saviour, it is the life I lead, but it is my decision, not my job to force others to believe the same way. I am to be Salt and Light and I am thrilled to tell anyone who would choose to hear this "Good News".
What happened to our country on September 11, 2001 was a harsh reality of these type of people and the type of spirit I speak of. It is sad and frustrating to know that the world we live in can be so frightening. The only sense I can make of it is that it has happened since the beginning of time and sadly it will continue. Those of us who stand for freedom and truth and "the American way" so to speak, will always be forced to defend these freedoms we hold dear. What I love is that .....WE WILL STAND UP to all who come against us. When push comes to shove we will fight and stand up to all those who persecute us. We are AMERICANS!
I was watching television on that horrible day; I saw it happen LIVE. It shocked me then and I cried this morning remembering the lives lost and the people left behind. We will never forget and I can only pray that our country will never allow, the best we can; any one from outside our borders or inside to come against us in that way again. It is unimaginable to even try to feel the pain our country felt during the Civil War.....mothers losing sons and husbands and the sheer devastation that our country went through. As a mother of three sons I can't even fathom the pain. I did watch my mother send my beloved brother off to the war in Viet Nam. As a young girl of nine it was disturbing at the least, but my pride was overflowing by his valor and bravery. That kind of bravery is what caused those hero's on the plane in Pennsylvania, to go out fighting, they were not going down without trying to over take those who were trying to hurt them. God Bless them and all our Americans who join the military and fight for our freedom. We could never have made it this far without you all. We will always be in your debt. Thank you for your service!
