About Me

My photo
tennessee, United States
I am a wife and a preacherswife and mother of 4 and I love my family. We moved back to my hometown with my family and I am loving my life. I love writing, art...painting, creating something new from something old and I love God. I really want people to lighten up and realize that God does love us and He cares what happens to us. Faith is the word!He has got it all under control. Sometimes He whispers and sometimes he yells, I am just trying to learn what I need to after the whisper!

Just when ya think the beautiful springtime is here...here comes winter! Grrrrrrrrr! I pray for my fragile flowers who are by now sssshiveringgg! The springtime is a good time for me, a time of hope. These seasons are much more pronounced since I have aged, yikes, I said it! Maybe I am becoming more of a thinker now days, since I am leaving my worries behind...hmmmm gotta have something to fill those thoughts so I am thinking today about spring. Easter is upon us, good memories of my childhood, egg hunts, new chicks and bunnies. The pleasure of growing up on a farm. Then enjoying my own babies at Easter. Jesus has risen! We have had a little more of Jesus than in my childhood memories, but no looking back, moving forward. I so much feel like John Boy(The Waltons) when I start to ponder about spring.....the smell of lilac and hyacinths; the patches of buttercups in the fields where you just know there was a house there long ago. The rows and rows of tulips(why are they always in a row?), the new baby plants at the Co-op to bring home and plant. Then the moist dirt after all those rain storms, avoiding the earthworms, eeewww! All of the redbud trees and dogwoods(East TN has more of them)and best of all going barefoot and flip-flops when needed. It doesn't get any better than that!
